Game Review: ActRaiser

Actraiser is an action/simulation game for the Super NES. It’s probably best known for its outstanding soundtrack (given special attention in this review) and its unique play mechanic, which alternates sidescrolling action stages with Sim City type simulation stages. An elegant review for a very classy game. ^^

Game Review: Faxanadu

(Note: You may want to stay through the credits for this one.) Faxanadu is a classic game for the NES, beloved by many and reviled by some. Me? I do enjoy it, but it’s not without its flaws. Join me as I examine the virtues and vices of this game.
