Just For Fun (10.19.2011)

I was visiting my little page on TV Tropes when I realized something: I never gave the person who made it a proper thank-you here. I decided to fix that. ^^ I’ve also given my thank-you story a permanent place in the Fan Corner dropdown menu. I hope you enjoy it and that it gives the person responsible a smile.

Also, if you look to the right, you may notice I’ve added a mailing list… thing. If you’d like to get update notices (but just for videos and other really site-important things, not stuff like this) conveniently delivered to your inbox, by all means, sign up. Finally, my Halloween review is coming along. Biggest issue so far? Playing this game through my capture card and watching it on the monitor gives me motion sickness. I wish I was joking. BUT I SHALL PERSEVERE!

New Project Wonderful Ads (10.14.2011)

Greetings! I’ve been rearranging some design-y stuff to make room for new Project Wonderful ads — and get rid of the banner at the top of the page, which almost no one used anyway. It seems as if that little square ones see a bit more action. We’ll see how it works out.

While I was at it, I decided to make the 404 page useful, like I did for Reviewers Unknown. New here and not sure what you’d like to watch? Try triggering a 404 and see what happens. ^^ I’m actually thinking of adding that particular feature as a menu selection.

Finally, Project Wonderful has a referrer program. I like the place, and I also like money, so if you have a site you’d like to advertise (or you’d like to set up advertising on your site), please pay them a visit. They even give you Achievements for doing certain things with your advertising! Yes, really! ^^

Technical Difficulties. And Stuff. (10.11.2011)

For anyone who’s left comments and such, sorry I took so long. I had some computer issues right after I finished my last video. Issues that pretty much took the whole week for me to straighten out. >_>; Thankfully, things are back on track now in that sense, though I did spend a few days the following week trying to catch up on lost sleep.

This week (and the week before), I’ve been doing lots of novel work. And whenever I’m in “Writer Mode”, reality has a funny habit of vanishing on me. ^^; That’s pretty much wrapped up now, though, so I can get back to other things — including the Halloween video I’ve been planning for a while.

Ta-Da! (09.25.2011)

Well, I’ve finally posted my first review in ages. Go me. ^^ It’s Castle of Illusion, starring Mickey Mouse. Yep, a game that’s simply cute, not weird, dark or scary. I’m also planning my Halloween review (or possibly reviews, depending on how things go), and it was nice to spend time with such a fun, sweet trip through Nostalgia Land.

I’m also attempting to save some money for my props/costumes/games/equipment fund, among other things. I’m half tempted to try something like this. Or maybe selling plasma. Though I rather hope just making more videos will be enough. :p

Not Exactly Filler. (09.21.2011)

Well, that “filler” review I had planned is turning into something else. If all goes well, I’ll have it done by Saturday. It’s just that since this is my first review in a while, I figured I might was well try to make it worth everyone’s while.

Quick Note (09.08.2011)

Just to let everyone know, I’m working on some things right now. The biggest is actually a redesign for Reviewers Unknown. The new and improved site will debut sometime next Monday. The other is a new video, though recording the game footage hasn’t gone as easily as I’d hoped. I may have to do a quickish filler review (gotta have SOMETHING to christen the new design with, right? ) while I get that sorted out.

Still here! Honest! (04.13.2011)

Hi, everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates lately; I’ve kinda-sorta been sidetracked with finishing up my novel-in-progress. From the looks of things, I’ll have a workable draft finished by the end of the month, at which time I’ll resume making videos. You can probably expect a new review sometime in early May.
