Game Review: Golden Axe

My first review of 2011 is a look at a Sega classic, specifically the Genesis version. But really, someone should do something about this game’s crappy ending….

    Death-Bringer looks like a humanized Battle Cat from He-Man

    Funny thing is, the dwarf is the only character Lord Xuma ever uses.

    There’s a game that’s similar in theme and gameplay style, but has much better gameplay. Ever play Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of Doom or its improved sequel Shadow Over Mystara? They’re both fantastic, and evoke the same type of fantasy feel as Golden Axe.

    And it’s so true how the giant animals had no problem with people building towns on top of them. I never thought to question that!

      Can’t say I’ve ever played either of those. So many games to try….

      Well, like I said, a lot of games have ridiculous plot points. I just give them more thought than required. ^_^;

        I think you’d be amazed if you played either of them. They even have a monetary system and inventory system, which you don’t really see in arcade games!
